Jamun Mint Popsicles
Impressive, beautiful to look at and eat, purple shaded popsicles are prepared with the delicious, tangy, healthy summer fruit, Jamun. These Jamun Mint Popsicles are very easy to prepare. An addition of Chat Masala or Black salt can be sprinkled over the popsicles to provide it an Indian flavor.
- 500 gms Deseeded Jamuns
- 2-3 Mint Sprigs
- 1 Lime (Juiced)
- 2 tbsp Sugar
Deseeded Jamun pulp is to be blended with lime juice, mint and sugar(optional) in a blender into fine homogenous pulp.
This pulp is then to be strained into Popsicle moulds.
Sticks to be placed in the moulds and kept in freezer for about 3 hours so the Popsicles may be frozen.
These frozen Popsicles may be taken out of the moulds and served chilled.
